In follow up to the Mayor Vincent C. Gray’s Ward 7 Economic Development Summit in June 2013, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development and its cluster agencies are hosting Start It in 7: Ward 7 Entrepreneurship Week. The week-long series of events and programming are centered on two priorities residents identified during the historic June 2013 Summit: 1) job training/placement and small business development, and 2) high quality, diverse retail offerings.
