Chevy Chase Civic Site (CCCS) is comprised of an approximately 73,390 square foot lot improved with the Chevy Chase Neighborhood Library and the Chevy Chase Community Center. The Development Parcel is located in Ward 3 and ANC3/4G SMD5, and is bounded by Northampton Street, NW to the North, McKinley Street, NW to the South, and Connecticut Avenue, NW to the West. The Development Parcel is located at 5601 and 5625 Connecticut Avenue NW (Square 1866, Lot 0823). The Redevelopment of the Chevy Chase Civic Site will include housing, a new library, and a new community center.

Request for Proposals (RFP) 
DMPED issued an RFP for the redevelopment of the Chevy Chase Site property on January 17, 2024. Links to the RFP and amendments are provided below. The submision deadline of August 28, 2024 has passed and the RFP is now closed.
