The Skyland Town Center project is advancing without Wal-Mart.
Rappaport Cos., co-developer of the troubled Ward 7 project, said Tuesday that CVS, a former tenant in the now-demolished Skyland Shopping Center, has signed a lease for 10,000 square feet in the 18-acre town center. Rappaport also said it has closed on $58.5 million in foreign investment.

Developers Unveil Proposals for Big Parking Deck in Mount Vernon Triangle

Three development teams have released splashy proposals to redevelop a prime piece of real estate in Mount Vernon Triangle, which is currently an 87,000-square-foot parking deck. The plans propose a variety of uses from housing to hotels, and two involve redeveloping an underutilized park nearby.
