Since Mayor Muriel Bowser came into office, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) has released a myriad of projects that leverage data in order to make the government more transparent to the public. This Wednesday, two new tools were released, called the Business Incentive Wizard and the DMPED Delivering Tracker.

The Business Incentive Wizard offers businesses an easier way to learn about incentives and other programs. At the moment, it’s still in Beta testing, so the website might still be a little buggy.

The DMPED Delivering Tracker is a “micro-site” that lists all of the DMPED’s accomplishments, press releases, and articles, dating all the way back to March 1, 2016. It also features the DMPED’s latest tweets.

Past projects that have been featured on Curbed DC include the Real Estate Project Pipeline, which tracks every DMPED development project; the Economic Intelligence Dashboard, which focuses on jobs and affordable housing; and the Ward Indicators Tool, which identifies specific demographic and investment data for each individual Ward.
