Deputy Mayor for Education (DME) in partnership with DMPED invites you to a Community Development Workshop to discuss and learn more about the Fletcher-Johnson School reuse project.

The goals of the Community Development Workshop are to:

  • Inform applicants about community priorities;
  • Promote partnerships and networking among potential applicants, educational organizations, local businesses, and community stakeholders;
  • Inform interested parties about the school reuse process;
  • Discuss the results of a market feasibility study for the site.

To prepare for the Workshop, please consider the following questions:

  • How do your goals for the project align with the community’s priorities for the site?
  • What kind of partner do you need to bring your project to fruition?
  • How much space are you seeking at Fletcher-Johnson?
  • What is your timeline to begin operations?

Please note that attending the Community Development Workshop is not a requirement to submit a response to the Fletcher Johnson Request for Offer, and the presentation materials from the workshop will be posted online on our website following the meeting.
