Please join the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) for an exciting opportunity to share your ideas on the future development of the Crummell School site. 

On July 29, 2015, DMPED held a Public Workshop with over 130 attendees at which Mayor Bowser, DMPED and the Office of Planning staff presented information regarding this new initiative and provided a thorough analysis of the Crummell School site, neighborhood and market context. DMPED also actively solicited feedback on how to shape the future development of this site from residents and community members in the form of a facilitated break-out group session. 

On September 19th, the Bowser Administration will host a follow-up meeting at Trinity Baptist Church, located at 1814 Central Pl NE, Washington, DC 20002 from 12:30pm – 2:00pm in order to reconnect with the community on the feedback received through the Workshop and Online Engagement Forum, further refine major community preferences, and explain how community input will be incorporated in the RFP.
