A key component of the revitalization of the Anacostia waterfront is the Riverwalk Trail. The Anacostia Riverwalk shared-use path is located along the west and east sides of the Anacostia River. The 20-mile multi-use trail stretches from Prince George’s County, MD to the Tidal Basin and the National Mall in Washington, DC.

The former United Medical Center (UMC) site is comprised of 16.8 acres situated at the northwest corner of Southern Ave SE and 13th Street SE. The Property is comprised of 4 parcels totaling approximately 732,214 square feet. The lot is improved with 3 existing building structures. The Property is located in Ward 8 and ANC 8E, and is bounded by Southern Avenue, SE to the East, 13th Street SE to the South, and Oxon Run Parkway to the West.
