The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) just released a brand new tool that will allow the public to be able to understand where every single investment project is located in Washington, D.C.
With the Ward Investment Map, there are icons indicating DMPED projects, affordable housing projects, industrial revenue bond projects, vacant properties, and Great Streets awardees and corridors. The only government investment projects mapped are those started or completed since the beginning of 2015.

It’s also a city full of potential but lacks equal distribution of these resources for innovation to happen amongst all of the city’s innovators. The city is already making steps towards combatting this.
