The Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) just released a brand new tool that will allow the public to be able to understand where every single investment project is located in Washington, D.C.

With the Ward Investment Map, there are icons indicating DMPED projects, affordable housing projects, industrial revenue bond projects, vacant properties, and Great Streets awardees and corridors. The only government investment projects mapped are those started or completed since the beginning of 2015.

Along with this, the DMPED also revealed the Ward Economic Indicators and Investments Tool, which breaks down and graphs each ward by population, unemployment, housing units and types, and homeownership rates.

The unveiling of these resources is part of Mayor Muriel Bowser's month-long initiative focused on "showcasing D.C.’s innovation ecosystem and how ideas from local entrepreneurs are reshaping the District," according to the #innoMAYtion website.
