Mayor Bowser Launches “Office to Anything” Program to Activate Vacant and Underutilized Office Spaces into New Commercial Uses

Mayor Muriel Bowser unveiled her economic growth agenda that will be included in her Fiscal Year 2026 budget. 

Housing in Downtown Program Expected to Support District in Reaching 90% of the Goal to Add 15,000 Residents Downtown by 2028

Mayor Bowser has launched the DC Venture Capital Program, a new $26 million fund designed to make equity investments in pre-seed, seed, and early-stage tech companies based in Washington, D.C.

Residents, businesses, and stakeholders can share their ideas for Downtown with the Gallery Place/Chinatown Task Force and receive updates on other progress happening Downtown by visiting BeDowntown.dc.gov.
