The New Communities Initiative seeks to revitalize distressed public housing sites by building mixed-income and vibrant communities. As part of this goal, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) will enter into a grant agreement, with community-based organizations, faith-based entities, and/or private/public agencies to provide a comprehensive case management program to serve a minimum total of 435 existing households.
