Mayor Bowser to Break Ground on New Senior Housing Honoring Todd A. Lee

(Washington, DC) – On Friday, March 6, at 12 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will celebrate the groundbreaking of The Todd A. Lee Senior Residences at Kennedy Street in Ward 4’s Brightwood Park neighborhood. The 38-unit affordable rental apartment building bears the name of Todd A. Lee, the former Executive Director and CEO of the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency (DCHFA), who passed away on January 1, 2020. Lee will also be honored through the development of an affordable homeownership project bringing eight for-sale townhomes to the Anacostia neighborhood of Ward 8, the Mayor’s Vacant to Vibrant initiative, and DCHFA’s Housing Investment Platform.
