(WASHINGTON, DC) – Deputy Mayor for Planning & Economic Development (DMPED) Victor Hoskins today announced that Harold B. Pettigrew, Jr., has left his position as Director of the District Department of Small & Local Business Development (DSLBD). Robert Summers was appointed interim director of the agency, effective immediately.
“Mayor Vincent C. Gray, City Administrator Allen Lew and I thank Harold for his service and wish him well in the future,” said Hoskins. “The Gray Administration will continue to move forward aggressively with the reforms needed in our local Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) program.”
Mr. Summers is currently the Chief of Staff at DSLBD. He previously served as a business-development executive with the New Teacher Center in Santa Cruz, California and Washington Sports & Entertainment in the District.
