(Washington, DC) - Deputy Mayor Valerie Joy Santos announces today the availability of 350 spaces for discounted daily parking and reserved monthly parking at retail complex, DC USA in Columbia Heights, beginning Monday, February 1, 2010.

The 1000-space parking garage at DC USA was constructed to satisfy lease terms of the complex’s major retailers including Target. After two years of operations, the complex owners, which include the District through its tax increment financing program, have determined the garage has the capacity for commuter and monthly parking.

Daily commuter parking and monthly reserved parking contracts for up to 350 cars will be available at the garage office located on the P1 level. The discount daily rate is $6. To qualify for the daily rate, parkers must enter the garage before 9 am and leave prior to 7 pm Monday-Friday. The DC USA garage is adjacent to the Columbia Heights green line Metrorail station providing access to downtown Washington.
