Participants at the Ward 8 Community summit used this document as a focus for the discussion about expanding retail service for residents of Ward 8.

The purpose of the WIC is to serve as a public-private partnership empowered to advise the Mayor, the Council and the District government on the development, implementation, and continued improvement of an integrated and effective workforce investment system.

Under this employment agreement, the employer will use the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services as its first source for recruitment, referral, and placement of new hires or employees for all new jobs created by the project.
