The Innovation & Technology Inclusion Council (ITIC)

"The Innovation & Technology Inclusion Council (ITIC) advises the Mayor and the public on ways in which to grow the District's innovation and tech-economy in an inclusive manner, increase the number of jobs and high-technology businesses in the District, and ensure opportunities for all District residents. The ITIC also identifies effective strategies to engage and support the inclusion of underrepresented groups and their performance in the District's innovation and tech-economy through STEM education, workforce development and tech-entrepreneurship.

Neighborhood Prosperity Fund (NPF)

Neighborhood Prosperity Fund (NPF) incentivizes community development, economic growth, and job creation by providing gap financing for projects that attract private investment to distressed communities. Grant funds support architectural and engineering costs, construction costs, tenant improvements, historical preservation building improvements to maintain compliance with applicable laws, development analysis, rent abatement and/or tenant concessions for up to 3 years to stabilize market rent. Projects must be located within the Neighborhood Prosperity Fund boundary.
