Grimke School NW - Surplus Analysis

Tuesday, September 29, 2015

Pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 10-801(a-1)(2), along with the surplus resolution, the Mayor must submit an analysis that illustrates why deeming the real property as no longer needed for public purposes is in the best interests of the District.

Additionally, pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 10-801(a-1)(4), the Mayor must hold at least one public hearing on the finding that the real property is no longer required for public purposes.  A summary of the public comments received at that public hearing, called a “surplus hearing,” must be included as part of the surplus analysis.

Please view the surplus analysis for this project below.
