Sixteen months after a court vacated the approvals for Northwest D.C.'s $720M McMillan redevelopment, the project has received the second of two approvals necessary to bring it back to life.

The Mayor's Agent for Historic Preservation issued an order dated April 3 approving the mixed-use development at the abandoned, 25-acre McMillan Sand Filtration site on North Capitol Street.
