Pursuant to D.C. Official Code §10-801, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development will conduct a public disposition hearing regarding real property known as the “Chevy Chase Civic Site,” located at 5601 Connecticut Avenue NW and 5625 Connecticut Avenue NW (Square 1866, Lot 0823) (the “Property”), to obtain community input on the proposed use of the Property.

The Property is comprised of approximately 73,390 square feet in the Chevy Chase neighborhood. It is the location of two District-owned facilities, the Chevy Chase Library and the Chevy Chase Community Center. The Property is located in Ward 3 and in ANC 3/4G SMD 05 and is bounded by Connecticut Avenue NW to the west, Northampton Street NW to the north, and McKinley Street NW to the south.

The public hearing will be held in-person at the date, time, and location listed below. In consideration of the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of the District of Columbia, the public hearing will include an online option for those members of the public who wish to attend virtually.
