The District of Columbia’s “Pathways to Inclusion” report sets forth a vision to make Washington, D.C. the nation’s premier hub for tech inclusion. The report outlined three major goals: 1) create 5,000 new tech jobs for underrepresented workers; 2) create 500 new tech businesses founded by underrepresented entrepreneurs; and 3) foster the most inclusive tech culture on the East Coast. The report also contains a number of recommendations on how to increase diversity and inclusion in the growing tech economy.
