Housing Finance Agency (DCHFA) Director Maria K. Kay-Marshall will join the development team and community leaders in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for The SeVerna on K in Ward 6

The SeVerna on K, part of the Northwest One New Communities Initiative (NCI), features 133 housing units (101 of which are affordable units), an exercise room, business center and off-street parking. NCI is a comprehensive public-private partnership designed to improve the quality of life for families and individuals living in Northwest One (Ward 6), Barry Farm (Ward 8), Lincoln Heights/Richardson Dwellings (Ward 7), and Park Morton (Ward 1). Goals of the program include protecting and expanding affordable housing and promoting mixed-income communities.
