Grimke School NW - Disposition Resolution

In order to dispose of a property deemed by the DC Council as no longer required for public purposes, pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 10-801(b), the Mayor must submit to the DC Council a proposed resolution detailing a number of things.  This proposed resolution, called  “disposition resolution,” must include, among other information, a description of the real property, the name and business address of the chosen developer, a description of the intended use of the property, a finding that the project will achieve the District’s affordable housing requirements, a finding that the developer will, at a minimum, contract with Certified Business Enterprises for at least 35% of the contract dollar volume of the project, a finding that the developer will enter into a First Source Agreement, and the proposed method of disposition.
