2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE 


The District aims to facilitate development along the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE to help implement the goals of the Great Streets initiative per the recommendations of the Office of Planning Land Use Plan. To date, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for the Planning and Economic Development has acquired 2337 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. As a key redevelopment priority on Pennsylvania Avenue, the District sees this effort as an opportunity to improve a key corridor, eliminate blight, and provide quality neighborhood-serving retail for residents.
